Heath and Safety Essentials Course has some weakness. 1) Video on fire section suggests you can operate a Call point this should be that you should operate a call point , the fact that automatic detection does or does not exist is irrelevant. 2) Suggesting to use the fire alarm to evacuate in a chemical spill situation should be down to local risk assessment / policy not general advise. 3) Fire Section video suggests to never renter the building after a fire alarm, this should be until instructed it is safe to do so.
I have done lots of courses just like this one. They have all been the same so I felt I learned nothing new from this. Probably good for someone with no previous experience.
