REALLY USEFUL INDUCTION TRAINING. EASY TO USE AND LEARN AND ALL RELEVANT INFORMATION EASILY EXPLAINED
Excellent delivery by the tutor on video. It followed a simple logical path with good examples and confidence boosting tests at the end of each section. Vocal, printed repetition of points suits differing styles of learner. Enjoyable too.

An easy to understand course that reaffirms the basics of Health and Safety in the home and workplace. The questions at the end were well articulated and had been covered in the training. The only criticism would be that it was possible to skip each section quickly, which might encourage some people to take a less serious approach to studying. It would also be beneficial to have more practise questions throughout the course and if people get any questions wrong, get them to study the whole section again. Currently, you can just go back one slide and then move forward straight away and answer exactly the same question again.
You need to be aware that the images you use are very stereotypical. For this course the presenter is white and male. All the images of people doing manual jobs are of men while your images of people doing office jobs are mostly female. There is very little ethnic diversity in the images and no images of people with visible disabilities. Women have to climb ladders and lift things too! Its not good when your words say one thing and your images say the opposite. I noticed an omission: in the section on fire it should be mentioned that there should be visible evacuation alarms for workers with hearing disabilities. You mention this in your Equality and Diversity course but not this H&S one.
I loved the fact it was in small sections which allowed you to pause , if necessary.
A good way to make sure all staff have the right information and training around health & safety when we don't have a lot of time to spare to go to courses. Great that it can be paused and you can do it bit by bit. I don't have sound so read the subtitles and it worked perfectly. Simple and effective.
