I think its a very simple and quick course and to the point. I feel that it could cover more specially with supporting the children in our homes as the staff have many questions about this and we don't have the knowledge or resource.
For those who use subtitles, the information is slightly rushed, i.e. some written information passes too quickly to read and understand comfortably.
offensive terminology.
Informative and well presented.
A sensitive and helpful look at gender identity and expression

This is a broad and somewhat divisive subject so it was useful to summarise some of these terms. Kindness and understanding seem much more important to me than getting the terms spot on. I would treat people of all denominations with compassion and respect, improving my knowledge of terms could help in that regard and this training helped me understand that.

As someone who lives near a very gender diverse area and recently went to university, this course feels a little heavy-handed and takes a 'one-size fits all approach'. I understand that in most parts of the UK it is less usual to encounter alternative gender expressions. It might also be worth saying that the more often you meet people with 'they/ them' pronouns, the easier it becomes to use them, so it can be easy to accidentally misgender without meaning to be microagressive. Really enjoyed the Ted talk by Sophie (in additional resources).
Helped me to self reflect especially as times are changing
