The course initially appeared to be long with an estimate of 37 minutes, however each section is short but precise. The sections are well delivered and easy to follow and the ability to review a section is very good.

The online training was an above average sample of transmission model design. The use of short videos and graphics made the linear scaffolded instructional design less painful than most eLearning. However, I might recommend that a more interactive problem-solving approach could be used. Please see my website at: https://abasiel.wordpress.com/ for some of my eLearning R&D. Another model to consider is action learning through gamificaton. I can easily see how you can set up a scenario where an employee has to make a decision about data protection and what could happen to the company if it went wrong. An extreme example is with Starbucks in America - where the company shut down for a day to do training as a result of an employee's actions. This Case Study model may be a more powerful learning/training design. I am happy to discuss this by email abasiel@arden.ac.uk or 07771 99 87 99 It would be great to have my Computing Students to have the opportunity to hear from a 'guest speaker' by Adobe Connect from your organisation or explore how our final year project students might get a work based learning opportunity.
