The contents of the course was extensively covered, and easy to understand. I'm very glad it was not time restricted like some other training I've completed, because it took time to finish as I had to multi-task my work duties.
Great with good use of examples to clarify points. Pitched with manageable volume of information in each section. Easy to go back and review.

I found this course and materials associated with it really good, not only for staff, but I hope to use some of the materials in my lessons. The pace of the presentation and the length of each slide was spot on.Excellent, easy to use material
helps get your head round a difficult subject.
The information in the course doesn't accurately reflect the current position under UK Law. It's quite obvious that the GDPR essentials training was produced prior to the publication of the Data Protection Bill. For instance although the GDPR states that valid consent cannot be given by a person under 16 years old, under UK law is 13 years old. Also there are significant gaps in the information such as: no mention of the time frame for reporting breaches to the ICO; no mention of personal liability for data breaches etc.
I found the way this training was presented easy to understand and take in.
I found it easiest by far to read the transcript rather than watch the videos. This was most time effective. I can read faster than being read to.The content was excellent and at the right level for all people in the organisation. Nothing was 'dumbed down' and it has all of the appropriate knowledge required. The test was straightforward based on the content on the unit.A summary page (possibly printable) to be referred to would be an additional feature for future units; something to refer back to.
