This is an excellent course, particularly for anyone who feels daunted by the implications of GDPR. Full explanations are given, in comprehensible jargon-free language, of the principles on which GDPR is based, the rights of data subjects and good practice. Supplementary information is available and each point is well summarized on-screen before the course moves on to the next point. The material is well-presented using engaging infographics and video content. The sound system on my computer failed from the start, but all the videos had transcripts, so this was not a problem. Don't be put off by the word 'test'. If you have absorbed the material during the course, the test is not too challenging, simply a way to reinforce the useful content. I found it particularly useful that some of the key issues were available as separate pdf downloads, so it will be possible to access that information in the future.

Probably the best piece of training the Council has ever provided on the subject of data protection and a long overdue run through the requirements of GDPR.

A very rewarding, informative, comprehensive, interesting training module, which I found most beneficial.

A lot of info to take in but I did learn alot.
