I completed the level 2 food hygiene programme through ihasco successfully. It covered all aspects of food hygiene in short videos including all thorough information which gave me the necessary knowledge to pass the test. Also keep my understanding of food safety up to date. This training programme is put together exceptionally and Is very helpful and quick.

This was an informative, useful course. It was clear and easy to navigate. I found that I was already putting a lot of it into practice in my home kitchen but there was much more to learn.

Great course, very informative and presented in a fairly engaging way. This could have been enhanced however by reaching different learning styles - this was very visual with not a lot of focus elsewhere; subtitles helped however these weren't adequate as an engaging tool. This course would also benefit from additional resources & handouts - perhaps summary sheets or 'top tips' that the learner can take with them. It was too fast paced to take decent notes and although the resource area was referenced, which might provide the information i'm after, I feel this could be more accessible via a link through the course.

excellent - especially if refreshing your training.

Course good but I couldn't get the slides to run properly, it didn't matter what option I chose to see the slides they didn't look any different and I couldn't see the bottom third of each slide so for some slides I couldn't click continue or see some of the extra information. Then it wouldn't run the test because I couldn't access the continue button. I have a new laptop and we couldn't work out what was wrong.

I found it very straight forward and clearly structured. Is excellent

The information was good & effective but these type of programmes can be quite boring which can make it hard to concentrate.

i was a little worried about doing the test as i felt that i did not know a lot about food safety and hygiene, but it was set out well listing each section as you went through it, then the test was set up at the end which just refresh what you learnt as you went through the course. thank you

I was pleased with the quality of this programme. This is due to the fact that the clarity and the in depth nature of how each aspect was explained helped me understand each element of food hygiene on its own level in singularity which will help me consider each element when needed in the work place. Also I have undergone other training in past catering jobs such as COSHH (Control of substances hazardous to Health) training and it had the same clarity as this programme which was explained in depth I learned about HACCP which is also a useful element to have in my food Hygiene , preparation and preservation arsenal.
