It was really interesting and good
As we responsible for providing buffets for meetings, it certainly highlights that we should not be re-chilling buffet food overnight for staff consumption the next day. In view of the number of food stuffs being prepared for sale to raise money for the NWH Charity, maybe all staff should be encouraged to have a go at this online training as it is hugely informative and very important if you are preparing food for staff to eat. A good course for getting a certificate. I started in the food industry in 1975 and do feel that in basic food safety training we spend to much time worrying about things like the different forms of food poisoning and not enough on simple basics. For example a used cloth is "dirty" even if doesn't look it, hanging it over a work service to dry is just spreading contamination. In many cases certain food handlers need a more practical type of training.
It was informative and didn't take too long. Could have had a couple more interactive exercises to break things up a bit.
