We do not work In the food trade we're

Irrelevant

5/5
Poor, unclear language, ambiguous

Area of the course contained factual inaccuracies and lacked the explicit language required to correctly assess example situations. For example: - SDS question incorrect, SDS does not have to contain instructions for use, it may do - The question on telling your employer if someone in yours house is ill, the quiz wanted the answer yes but the answer is that it depends. You don't have to tell my boss if someone you live with has gout, or schizophrenia, or cancer, it is only relevant illnesses that are transmissible or symptoms that indicate something GI related. - Also, food does not only need to be held at 75 degrees for 2 minutes, the food standards agency state that any of the following are acceptable "60°C for 45 minutes, 65°C for 10 minutes, 70°C for 2 minutes, 75°C for 30 seconds, and 80°C for 6 seconds". - Multiple choice question 4 asked whether you can detect microorganisms in food by smell or taste. The correct answer according to the test said 'False' but that is not explicitly true, it should say 'not always' instead of False. - There are also questions start state "if YOU fail to comply with food safety legislation who can be prosecuted" for which it wants the answer all employees, which is not true. All employees may suffer the consequences of a business being shut down, and those who know and let it happen can suffer, but irrelevant employees will not be prosecuted. "In order to prosecute the individual in question, you must be able to show that the person was: at work, that they are employed, and provide evidence that the person did not take care of someone's health and safety in the workplace or that they didn't comply with their employer as was required"And to top it all off, there was not a single question at the end about what fridges to keep freezers or fridges at, what temperature to cook food to. This training was wholly focused on the legislation, but often lacks the explicit clear language required and lacks practical examples in the quiz.
