A good overall explanation of the importance of food hygiene and preparation. Causes of food poisoning and food contamination, personal and work environment factors that effect how food is stored, prepared, chilled and heated. Causes of airborne, cross contamination, Spores and toxins, The Bacteria life and what conditions it needs to thrive, food spoilage. It covers Microorganisms : E.Coli, Salmonella, Bacillus Cereus, Staphylococcus Aureus, Salmonella, Campylobacter Jejuni, Clostridium Perfringens and Norovirus. It teaches Good Food safety standards.
