The training covers all the basics in a good amount of detail. It is my thought that some of the questions could be more relevant to the coal face workers. As a nurse with 40 years of annual training in allergy and anaphylaxis I would have preferred to see a couple of questions on how to recognise and deal with this (however I suppose this comes under the first aid training) instead of things like the percentage of people admitted to hospital with allergic reactions or which local authority body is responsible for monitoring compliance.

Food Allergy Awareness is mediocre at getting information across. I have issues keeping my focus with all sections of IHasco. It comes across like they are robots and have no personality, so when they speak it doesn't grab my attention. Their voices are white noise compared to the diagrams and showcases.

I've really enjoyed the experience to learn more on the catering industry and it makes you realise how serious food poisoning can be and how must people do cross contaminate which out knowing.
