Very informative have learnt a lot about 1st aid
When checking for circulation using the finger/toe nail pressure method, what happens when the casualty is wearing opaque nail varnish - as was your presenter???
Really good course and like how you cant skip questions like you can in some others
Great that we are able to do this during the pandemic.
Engaging with Videos rather than reading everything relevent as a refresher !
Hi Paul, Sorry its taken me a while to get through this. The course was long and did take me quite a while, I did it in stages, as suggested on the video and I did think it was useful. It will never be able to replace actually bandaging/ giving CPR etc to a dummy but as a refresher I did think it was worth while.
As long as you make some notes the info and visuals go a long way to remind you of the FAW course. Good demonstrations on the practicals and good that you can stop and start which is recommended. I enjoyed it very much as a refresher.
Nice to also be able to drop in and out when you have the time. As a teacher that is very importantThanks
The course was a convenient way to revisit first-aid procedures. The slides were easy to understand and gave the necessary information.
