This course gives an introduction to the key responsibilities of a fire warden. Topics covered include; responsible persons, your duties as a fire warden, how to raise the alarm and evacuate and how to tackle a fire (including different types of fire and different fire extinguishers). The instructions are clear and concise, whilst making every effort to avoid being patronising where the instructions represent what most people would view as "common sense".
the information provided is excellent, but the practical information is mostly within the last 10 slides. This is really the most pertinent information but is all towards the end. I appreciate that it runs in a sensical order i.e from the beginning of the ' fire situation' until the end but if there was a way to balance/ spread this it could be more user friendly. It can be difficult to take in that much important information all at once.
just love doing this it's keeps you on top of it all.

A very informative presentation and good to get up to date with various aspects of fire prevention and tackling of different fires.
Course was very clear and easy to navigate through. Any section could be repeated as many times to allow for full understanding and note taking. Information was broken down into small and manageable sections. A few questions were put in along the way to confirm understanding.
