I feel well knowledged to be a fire warden
I particularly appreciated seeing the different types of fire extinguishers in action. My main concern is being able to remember what type of extinguisher can be used on what type of fire. If some kind of mnemonics was available it would probably be useful. At the moment I am thinking A = Ash (eg Wood) B = Baint (eg Paint, flammable liquids) C = Cas (eg Gas) F = Fat (eg cooking oils) D = the others ...hmm... Clearly sub-optimal. But even remembering this, it would be useful to know instinctively which extinguisher is safe for that type of fire. I think in a situation of emergency, it will be hard to reason quickly. Of course one doesn't HAVE to tackle the fire, but if there was a way to know/remember easily it would be good. I suppose I'll check what types of extinguishers we have and prepare myself in advance as to what is suitable. The fire extinguishers table in the resources was very useful, although it was not mentioned in the video.
Very clear. Really useful to be shown examples of peoples behaviour.

I believe now I would be in a better position to act and spot any possible fire hazards and if ever the alarm does go off ACT!
Really good course easy to follow and understand content very useful and helpful. I now know how to use a fire extinguisher! Definitely 5 stars!
I have completed the fire marshall course today as a refresher to my initial training. It was informative covering everything that I had previously learnt. The intermediate questions were engaging however I feel there could have been more questions throughout each section before the test at the end.
Easy to follow. Very informative. The information is very concise and extremely relevant. I like the fact that you can repeat any or all of the course before doing the test. I would recommend this course to all relevant workplaces.
