A very informative training programme, easy to understand and participate in, my only suggestion would be to enable the videos to be paused.
This package includes all the pertinent subjects without going overboard on fire safety. It leads the trainee down the path of the common sense approach instead of regimentation. Overall an excellent package.
I think that the final test should include more questions referring to the types of fires and fire extinguishers and that some questions in a test are irrelevant.
The only dissadvantage of these types of training programes are the obvious fact that there is no interaction between the student and tutor, otherwise the training was well structered and easy to understand.
Helpfull to have a print option for table of classes of fire & types of extingushers
I found this training very helpful especially the part about the different classification of fires and when to use each extinguisher.
I thought the training covered every aspect of Fire Warden training and the test element ensured complete attention. I would recommend this training to everyone as it is better for as many people as possible to be aware of what is covered in the training.
I think the training is laid out well and the different speakers and videos to watch keep the training interesting. I learnt a lot and feel more confident in my role as Fire Warden.
I was concerned it would take a whole day to complete but you could take a session and leave and come back, so very flexible. It was mainly common sense, but it has made me check our extinguishers and alarm system!
Most of what was stated could be atributed to common sense however panic could set in. The differing extinguishers and fire types was very interesting.
