Very informative and accessible

the idea of the programme being flexible for my working situation was a good idea. However i dont know how to rate applying the knowledge gained to a real fire situation as nothing can replace the type of simulated activities provided by the fire service within their Fire academy and Young Firefighters Programmes. For example how do i know how i will react in the dark - ? It would be good to have a practical activity available as part of this programme.

I have attended fire awareness courses in the past , but this course has given me a lot more in depth information that I will use in the workplace.

I found the section relating to peoples reactions during a fire alarm or a fire very interesting.

interesting

Information was interesting, however doing a course like this that via e-learning is not practical. For example, if I am now to use a fire extinguisher I would need to have a practise using one rather than seeing someone use one on a video. I don't feel that this course has given me that experience necessary to be a fire warden.

A good way of learning but unable to ask any questions or ask for further explanation on certain areas. (Any questions email: help@ihasco.co.uk)

Very informative - to the point.

The interactive training course was very good and well presented. It 'cut to the chase' and covered the essentials of basic fire fighting and how to deal with fires in a responsible and safe manner. It did not produce 'overkill information', just essential information that would be applicable to fire wardens responsibilities. One major point that 'alarmed' me was in fact the footage of people's ignorance towards the mock fire alarm scenario...amazing! It brought home the true reflection of how society take warning sirens as 'normal' routine annoyances.

This was good to listen to and to learn about what a Fire Warden has to do .
