The online format was excellent allowing time to stop, make notes and to accommodate interruptions. The video clips of of demonstrations were particularly interesting
The use of videos and the fire brigade was very good. The actual scene of a fire in a shop was almost frightening and illustrates how a small fire can get out of control. Good to see peoples reaction to a fire alarm. This is something for all to view including family members at home
The programme is very well structured and well presented. The content is clear and helpfu. If I was to suggest an improvement, it would be to allow people to take a quiz before they look at material and to allow them to try the final quiz when they feel ready. Some people may feel comfortable with their knowledge in some aspects of the programme, but need to learn or refresh in others. This is particularly the case for those not completely new to fire warden duties.
The only problem was that I can't have sound where i'm sitting so I wasn't completeley involved as I could have been and didn't pick up on everything. Perhaps there should be two versions, one with sound and one that does the same job but without sound.
Really good programme to follow, easy to understand, clear and concise, at first i thought it was going to be long and drawn out, but when i got into it it flowed really well. I often find some of these type of programmes not informative, due to the fact that althought they are informative, they speak to quickly to be able to absorb the information, this was the opposite.
Some parts were really interesting, other parts took a lot of concentration to listen carefully and take in all information. The quiz at the end helped to recap on what had been covered.
It was alot to take in but well worth it as i can add this to my c.v.
A good well presented programme but a little to long for me.
A short concise programme which I found useful. The fact it was boken down into parts was helpful and allowed you to focus on that particular area. If required it also allowed you to stop and start the programme to suit your workload. The mixture of video clips and slides also kept my interest.
well laid out
