A good overview and helpful to be able to stop and continue the training to fit around workload.
I attended a half day warden training course last year and apart from physically using the extinguishers, this programme was just as good and took half the time.
I thought the human behaviour video was far too long, the message could have been got accross in 1/4 of the time. As Cheif fire marshall on site, it bought home to me some of my responsibilities I had overlooked.
The way the training is presented greatly aids trying to remember the facts, especially the short videos.
Very informative
This was a useful programme and enabled me to freshen up my knowledge on the role of a fire warden and the approaches to fire safety. I thought that the facility to retake the test in order to improve your percentage and the fact that the percentage was on the certificate was motivating to users to continue to improve.
The material was clearly organised and presented. I feel much more confident about carrying out my duties as a fire warden now. The videos were very useful and the test questions after completing each of the sections made you focus on what's important.
The overall content and presentation was good and of an appropriate lenght. Slight annoyance was the discrepency in volume bewteeen the "presenter" videos/voice overs and the "fire brigade" speakers that meant i had to keep adjusting the volume.
Differrent countries would just have to ensure that certain they alert their wardens that the emergency numbers are not the same and check if legislation is the same.
Covered everything you need to know, very informative and easy to use. Test at the end made sure you have been paying attention throughout the DVD and the question at the end of each topic keeps you on your toes....
