I found the programme to be very thorough, in fact more thorough than we require as our fire wardens are not expected to tackle fires. The modular format combined with animated graphics and video clips made the information easy to understand and the exercises at the end of each module provided a good way of checking understanding. My only concern was the video used to highlight fire risks in an office, as some of the indicators (for example the fire alarm disabled with papar) are difficult to spot on the screen.
The only negative thing I can say is it took a bit longer to complete that I thought it might, but it was worthwhile and interesting
This was easy to use and only took 2hours.
Good range of information and each section was split well into good length slides and the video clips of examples were very helpful.
Found it a very interesting online course that was interactive. Enjoyed the video portions of the course and that you had mini test throughout with an exam at the end.
The guide giving "bite size" video and written information to each aspect of the course allows you to understanding it more completely. Also giving a question at the end of each segment allows you to make sure that you have understood, and if not it is a very good aspect that you can go back again and revisit it again to re-assess what you may have missed in the training origally.
I thought the mixture of talks, videos and written instructions kept it interesting. The video of how people react to alarms was particularly thought provoking.
Very detailed and chose a good actor for the links. Only criticism is that the staged fire alarm section (the "market research" group) went on too long with too many talking heads saying much the same thing.
This programme was clear, concise and as engaging as it could have been. I found it relevant to my workplace, and have a few action points as a result.
At the start the cousre looked pretty dull but as it carried out I found it very interesting and engaging when some facts were based on the true (humin being ) facts. Also it was not as long as I expected.
