I strongly disagree with the answer provided to the question "What is a fire Warden's responsibility concerning a fire risk assessment" - Carry out any of the protective measures needed to comply with regulations. It is not a Fire Wardens responsibility to make repairs, test fire preventative installations etc.and undertake work to ensure compliance. The answer should be "To carry out the risk assessment and be proactive in eliminating identified weaknesses"PLEASE RECONSIDER YOUR ANSWER IN YOUR TEST
It was excellent I would recommend it.
The training programme was good, albeit repetitive, and not all of the videos played properly for me. I got sound but there was no visual to the point I wasn't sure if there was supposed to be images playing (like during the example evacuation).
Glad I could come back and complete later as I was called away to complete a call and resumed and completed later 😊
I much prefer doing interactive training online than taking a day out of work to sit in a classroom with people talking over the trainer and asking daft questions. This way you stay on track and just power through. Great! Also, your not confronted by a plate of stale rich tea biscuits during tea break!
I would recommend this to other colleagues as the training is not too lengthy and is not filled with irrelevant information. It is pitched at the correct level and has left me with the confidence and knowledge to be an effective fire marshal within my workplace.
The content was very good but I did not find it very user-friendly. Instructions on how to move through using the arrow at bottom would have been helpful. You are not aware that there are up to 17 video clips before moving on to next section so I missed loads first time round and still some second time so it would not let me move on to test. Consequently took about 2 hours 30 mins not 84 mins!
!
This on line training is ideal as many people are too busy to attend external training sessions, but the information provided in this session is just as useful.
A well composed training video covering the key aspects a warden needs to know, with useful video scenarios.
