Everyone should take this training - not just Fire Wardens.
Good and interesting and verry deatald helped me a lot .
Provides reasons for why you need to act the way instructed as well as just saying this is what to do. The course answers a lot of the questions that might arise in a practical situation and explains where responsibilities lie.
I found the course to be very useful and informative.
Informative and easy to follow. I feel I learned a lot.
Clear, concise and simple to use and complete.
One quick comment, I did half the course without speakers, however reading the typed text was long winded and un-engaging - I managed to source some speakers later in the day. This made completing the course a far more enjoyable and immersive experience. The experiment with regards to the way humans interact and behave in the circumstance of a fire alarm being sounded was very informative and will change my behaviour should I ever be in this type of situation in the future. Overall a very thorough and well set out course.
Good points first:- very easy to hear without distractions, absence of background music is a great improvement over other such courses - clear, uncluttered layout and navigation - video footage used very well to make the pointssuggested additions: - I've seen footage in another course demonstrating how fast a room can fill with smoke from a tiny paper bin fire, that might be worth adding - also, it may be worth adding why doors should not be opened when a fire is suspected inside
Seemed well thought out into sections and with a few tests to consolidate learning on top of the end test.
