Good mix of presentation material

Not too long or overkill, got the key points across although I felt some information wasn't really relevant but interesting nonetheless.Good mix of video, talking heads, diagrams, etc so kept my interest. Particularly the video examples of people reacting to a fire alarm.

Very comprehensive course

The video clips and CCTV coverage of the fire in a newsagents were very thought provoking. It was very interesting to see how the general public responded to the fire alarm and the fire in the shop.

problems viewing on a laptop

problems viewing on a laptop - had to go onto a PC to view where the problems were - specifically not seing the 2 sections in Fire Prevention module

A good and informative course.

A good course but once you have taken it several times then it does begin to get repetitive.

Very informative course well presented.

The use of video footage in support of slideshow information is very useful. I also found that it was helpful to have the facility to use the 'subtitles' in addition as I was working in a noisy office whilst doing the course and at times could not hear the presenter speaking, so was able to follow the subtitles panel at the side of the screen. This is invaluable for people with hearing impairment - Well done. The section on types of fires and extinguishers was particularly helpful. With so many available the tutorials videos on using the extinguishers and explanations of correct extinguishers for the type of fire was excellent. Learned something new today. I was also amazed at the video showing the experiment with the fire alarm,,, did not expect to see that 'bystander apathy' behaviour to a fire alarm so yes, well explained and and eye-opener. Well done.To be honest, I really feel that this level of awareness training should be mandatory for all employees in all industries and not just designated 'Fire Wardens'. I feel priveleged to have been given this opportunity by my employer and will recommend the course.
