A more in depth version of fire training. Not sure how relevant it is to me as alone night support worker looking after one individual; it seemed more relevant to staff in offices, care homes or hospitals. In our service the day staff do the fire safety checks as it is noisy and unfeasible to do them at night.
Quite a long course but essential nevertheless. Useful to have the transcript to refer to.
I always worry that some online courses may not be a good replacement for face to face training. However this course is in depth, clear and concise. You can revisit sections if you cannot finish the whole course in one sitting and need a refresher, explains the use of each fire extinguisher, the role and responsibility of a Fire Warden as well the legislation involved. You learn what causes fire and safe practices to avoid fire or put it out. Good course
I have more knowledge on how to deal with a fire and what a fire wardens job is and was a good course to do and would recommend and very interesting and glad i was given the opportunity to take the course online.
Dear Michael, Thankyou for the opportunity to review this course. Generally this course was detailed & thorough. There were many videos to view & due in part to slow internet speeds this part of the course took rather longer to complete than the stated allocation bringing the total time spent, including the test itself, up to the 2 hour mark. I hope this helps. Regards, Andrew.
Good detailed course. Very helpful. Believe that 101 slides may initially put colleagues off from doing this course but otherwise a great resource!
Good to refresh knowledge
Comprehensive but took almost 2 hours. Hope we’re paid for our time?!
Did learn alot and it was interesting
Was bit long to take everything in at once, was good that could pause it an come back to it
