I had done the fire awareness one a few months ago. There is a lot of repetition. Would have been good to have the option of just doing the extra for fire warden rather than doing some material all over again!
Currently, as we’re all in lockdown, I have time to do this but in the normal day running of the school, I’d find it extremely difficult, impossible even as I don’t get any PPA time to do any training like this. 96 pages would be impossible
As I have mentioned above, it was very clear, easy to understand, and learnt a lot of unknowns, which I originally thought differently. Good experience!!!

Poor sound as the volume raises and lowers through many parts of this course, meaning its very distracting and hard to concentrate on the content. Also the course repeats many of the aspects of the Fire Awareness course, and it thus, overlong....could they not be kept completely separate, and class the Fire Awareness as Part 1 of the Fire Wardens course to complete first for Wardens etc.
i found it easy to work through and clear and informative, and refreshed my knowledge
A thorough and comprehensive course with a great mix of different training styles. I particularly liked the live action showing a person tackling a real fire with the different extinguishers.
This will be a very useful course for disseminating training to the rest of the department. Well organised, thorough, understandable and made sense. Made legal responsibilities clear.
