It was a useful course with sufficient information that made sense and broken down well, the only thing is I struggled to keep my concentration as it wasn’t the most enthusiastic display.
Well paced and full of information. Fire extinguisher / blanket sections particularly good. Also informative to have warning signs properly explained.

By the end I felt an expert on which extinguisher did what sort of fire, although I can't remember the technique for using each type. The main gripes with it were: - All fires, except the chip pan fire, looked identical. They were all just flames mysteriously emanating out of a perfectly flat floor. It would have been much more helpful to have watched someone dealing with a genuine case of the fire being talked about. One would then - hopefully - have been left with the image in one's brain of using an appropriate technique for each type of fire. - It would also have been worthwhile to show someone trying to deal with one of the most common types of fires, but one that was just a bit too big for a fire extinguisher to be able to cope with. Just to help people visualise the situation and get their head around it.
