Accurate and much needed course. Many facts I didn't know about fires. I have learned a lot of things which will be useful for the future. Excellent course. Everybody needs this course.
Gives an overall awareness of the dangers of fire whilst emphasising that nobody should feel obliged to tackle a fire if they are not confident to do so.
Important reminder about the correct usage of fire extinguishers and their appropriate uses. Good visual demonstrations of the correct method of use.
Clear and useful information about what to do to in the event of a fire. I learnt something that I was not previously aware of (to keep low if faced with smoke from a fire as this is where the air is clearest). Also useful to now about the different types of fire and which fire extinguishers to use although I appreciate the need to always read the instructions on the fire extinguisher.
Short easy to watch videos- really found these useful and engaging, assisted the learning greatly!
