The course was clearly explained and illustrated. I had a basic knowledge of how to manage fire and fire hazards but the specifics given in relation to action and the use of fire extinguishers was particular useful. Overall the course was essential for everyone who operates in the workplace and I was very glad to be asked to complete it.

This course is fine the fire extinguisher use section is very repetitive save time by stating at the start that you need to remove the safety strip and pull out the pin and check it works pointed away from the fire for any of them at the start of this section. Also make it that if you do the Fire warden course you have automatically completed this course as they are identical for the general fire awareness information.
It would be useful to know in advance that this course covers exactly the same content as the Fire Warden course, with an extra bit added for Fire Warden. I did the Fire Awareness and then followed it with the Fire Warden course which of course duplicated all of Fire Awareness. Perhaps make it clear that if you are doing Fire Warden, you needn't do Fire Awareness as well.
