This course helped me gain knowledge about fire safety and hazards I should be aware of so it was very helpful.

I felt that this was expecting me to spend time reading fire extinguishers and remembering which ones had what colour labels - not exactly wise behaviour in the event of an emergency. I won't remember all this - all I need to know is raise the alarm, call for help and get everyone out. Leave it to the experts as I fear that I would do more harm than good.

..as it's easy to forget the lessons shown once thrust back into every day life. Unless a fireman (sorry, fireperson 😉 these refresher courses are key to ensuring we can act effectively if faced with a fire.
