Very intresting and productive

This course has now made me aware all of the different types of fires. It also informed me the corret type of fire extinguisher to use in case of a fire.

Excellent presentation, clearly imparting information. Only issue was printing my certificate at very end where Internet Explorer crashed!

The programme was very user friendly. However, one of the questions had two misleading possible answers. The answer that the programme deemed to be correct was that a green Emergency Exit sign is to assist rapid evacuation and reduce panic. Whilst I understand how the sign might aid rapid evacuation I fail to see how it can be claimed that the sign reduces panic. Saying that a sign reduces panic does not take into consideration individual differences, i.e. there are some people who will panic no matter what signs they see.

Very user friendly. .

The programme was very user friendly. However, I believe that the question regarding the green emergency exit sign reducing panic was misleading, as no sign can claim to reduce panic due to individual differences. Therefore, to claim that the right answer to this question is to aid rapid evacuation and to reduce panic is wrong, as no sign is likely to reduce panic in someone who naturally panics. Apart from this question I found the programme to be very useful in learning how fire spreads and how to use fire the different fire extinguishers.
