Was very helpful in giving an overview of the types of extinguisher, knowing when and how to use them effectively whilst ensuring personal safety.General understanding of how the fire spreads and how to prevent it by keeping doors shut and knowing to keep low when moving through smoke etc was very useful.
The programme has content that is informative without being boring. The interactive content makes it more intersting to use.
The program served as a good refresher but I feel that the emphasis should be on the correct fire extinguishers for the correct fire rather than the classification of signage. It was quite long so yoy can lose focus towards the end which is really the critical part.
The fire dvd was easy to follow and it didn't take too long out of the working day to complete. Have seen similar to this before but did learn a little more from this one.
Well presented and easy to understand.
The course learning style suited me very much. It did not patronise, nor did it dumb it down. The way the topic was broken down was logical, sequential & methodical. If all courses were presented in this format I believe information retention by staff will increase.
Really appreciated the opportunity to refresh my knowledge of fire safety. This programme was easy to follow and very informative.
Simple and easy to use and great as visual aid and training program. Used it mainly as a refresher as done this subject before and was very pleased how easy it was.
The training program was very good and really well laid out.
This is not a good testing method as understanding of fire awareness is not really tested, i feel it was more of a memory test. I would suggest taking the test after at least 1 week after the training has taken place to ensure understanding.
