Very easy to follow but lengthy in places, i.e. section on fire extinguishers.
The training exercise is more relevant to shop floor employees than to persons responsible for fire risk assessments. The self-test exercises at the end help to reinforce learning and gave the opportunity to go back to the relevant section and then retest to get full marks.
The fire extinguisher section where it gives a page stating you must refer to the actual extinguishers in your centre as instructions may differ could be condensed to one slide for all the types. The voiceover on the fire brigade man was a little muffled. Other than that very clear.
I thought the programme was extremely informative
This was very well presented and contained a lot of really useful information. I particularly like the video clips on how to use an extinguisher. It has made me go round school looking for signs and extinguishers!
I know I could have gone in and out of the program but as the training programme is done outside school working hours,I did want to get it finished so I could carry on with my home life.
Very informative and clear. Mostly easy to comprehend and digest. The only difficulty is thoroughly absorbing the very complex variety and use of fire extinguishers, which will be difficult to remember.
more common sence needed than knowledge
In depth & informative but for someone with no H&S background or knowledge - would state at beginning of programme to make notes if required to assist them.
This is the second time I have used the system and I am perfectly comfortable with the format, I could not imagine using anything else - well done!
