I am using this DVD to ensure Fire Awareness Training is accomplished during the first week of my half hour H & S induction slot for new staff I find that The DVD is slightly too long and I skip the whole section on using extiunguishers because our policy at the College is that only trained Fire Wardens will be authorised to do so.

I found this programme good, information was nice and clear.

I thoroughly enjoyed participating the the programme. It was well presented and easy to follow. The information was presented in an interesting and stimualting fashion. It is fantastic that you do not need to go out school given how busy you are on a daily basis. I enjoyed doing it at my leisure at a time that suited me.

Good explanation of fire extinguisher types.Some of the test questions aren't relevant to Fire Safety, such as a fire being a combustion reaction and the percentage of businesses that reopen after a fire.

I felt this training programme provided an appropriate level of knowledge to refresh and review ones understanding of fire awareness and safety. . As an awareness programme it provides the detail required for the level of knowledge I need. Additional Q&A at the end of each module may have been useful for the longer modules. A factsheet which you could print out on what the different fire extinguishers should be used for would be helpful.
