An easy way to train employees on fire awareness, at their own path, when it is convenient for them, and cost effective for the employer, especially for small companies.
Very informative, well presented
The training was clear and easy to follow with a variety of learning techniques to aid retention of the information. It covered all of the relevent information needed in order to ensure we stay as safe as we can be in the workplace in the event of a fire.
I found that it covered all areas of fire and the awareness that you need to have. The tests through the programme helped you remember the main parts of the programme. The certificate at the end gives you the satisfaction of completing the test.
Clear and concise
This is a good way to have the training .
Overall i found the training beneficial but i did think that it might be helpful if the videos that you have to watch throughout the training were shortened so you could digest the information easier. I found the questions at the end of each section helpful to re-cap whats been learnt.
I had difficulty with the office hazards interactive task. I clicked all the hazards but only registered 9. (I had aleady completed the warehouse satisfactorily). So the program would not let me out, I could not find any more hazards in the office even though I tried twice. In the end I escaped adn restored (luckily the prog. remembered all my successes so I didn't have to begin again. When I went back to the office it scored 10. I really don't think that I found any more points. This was a time waster.
I found the course interesting ,I done my original fire fighting training in the Royal Navy over 30 years ago and was unaware of the new extinguisher for cooking oil fires. We only had a choice of two kinds of foam then Ox blood foam and AFFF.
The course was easy to follow and well presented with the information easy to assimilate. The test was also well designed and the options were carefully constructed.
