Easy to understand

A good programme, very well explained and the visual was particulary done well. Not to fussy and to the point.

4/5
excellent

I've had group sessions covering this in the past but I felt the programme was really easy to follow & very informative.

Good course.

As I said, course was good, but may have picked up on a mistake in one of the videos - looks as if the fire-fighter may be using a WATER extinguisher on a flammable liquid fire! (it's the one that the answer is 'he didn't check the extinguisher before tackling the fire')

Very worthwhile for all members of staff

The course gave me a very good awareness of procedures and responsibilities in the case of a fire in the workplace giving me the knowledge and confidence to deal with a fire situation. The test ensured I took the knowledge on board.

Content good, interface poor

COntent of teh course is good, but the fact that the course is delivered in a small window is limiting (why can it not be enlarged to full screen size?). Also when a page has finished it is not very obvious that you need to click on the next page button - can this be made to flash a bit more noticably?

informative and helpful

4 Stars

Mostly excellent and very clear, though there's an error in the graphics re carbon dioxide extinguishers, which don't show that they can be used on Class C fires, though the subtitles say they can. I was using the latter as I don't have speakers or headphones. They frequently obscured important pieces of the graphics, sometimes not mentioned in the subtitles, so had to be exited then reloaded, which was annoying.
