It was quite well structured and implemented. One thing I didn't lile, however, was that it seemed I was unable to review earlier sections before taking the test that I had not looked at for a couple of weeks, as I had put the training on hold and there had been a significant haiatus. Therefore all but the last part of the training was not at all fresh in my mind and I was unable to review theses earlier parts before commencing the test.
Quite time consuming and for someone who is not trained to use fire equipment I question if it was all relevant. Would I want to use the equipment just from the knowledge received on on0line training?
Interactive and thought provoking
Very interesting and informative.
The training programme was easy to follow and informative, broke down into small sections to help you remember each part more easily, with a varied use of visual and audio description, then a test at the end of each section to ensure you had understood the section.
Easy to complete, I now have a much better knowlege of Fire Awarenes.
It's *very* difficult to produce a training video on this subject that will not send people to sleep, but this one works well - it's colourful & keeps the viewer alert by constantly asking him/her to click on the "Next" button. "Spot the hazard" is good, although I never did manage to work out what I'd missed in the warehouse. If there's a weak link, it's the Fire Officer who, unlike the presenter, is not a natural performer to camera.
The training programme was great. It clearly set out the aims and it distinguished between the types of extinguishers very well.
Some units were longer than others & required a lot of memorisation.I liked the videos on handling an extinguisher. I thought the visuals were very good overall. On a different note; if a candidate failed to answer any particular question it would have been better to refer back to that question instantly rather than having to go through the whole section again. Perhaps a written bulletin of points covered at the end of each section would help to crystalise topics.
everything explained easily and straight forward picked up loads of information
