Good to get an insight into all things related to a fire in the workplace and understanding the causes what equipment to use and evacuation procedures an all round insight to fire.
Pointless same as fire warden course may aswell be 1 course waste of 30 mins

It takes far longer to complete than the stated time!
I felt like a seven year old child with some very earnest people explaining things I had already known for some time. Apart from the nomenclature of signs and the particulars of the 5(6?) extinguisher types there was nothing I didn't already know inside out and backwards. I appreciate the absolute necessity of people knowing what to do in the event of a fire, but I struggled to maintain concentration and as a result only just passed. I'm not sure how you could improve it; perhaps have shorter training for those with scientific knowledge and life experience, and the longer version for 16-18 year olds in their first job?
