I like having to focus and then be tested - training presented in interesting way that kept my attention throughout. I liked the fact that the training was visual, auditory and practical as well as solitary as this is the way I like to learn.
I will certainly forget the extinguisher information, however, I don't intend to use them - my role is to get the students out quickly and calmly.
Provides an insight into fire awareness within the workplace.
Delivered the basics in a clear coherent time efficient manner
Easy to follow with video demonstrations and frequent memory-jogging tests. Inspired me to walk around the building looking for fire extinguishers.
As above.
It would be better if the person doing the training could stop the commentary as and when he wished to think or make notes. For non-native speakers of English and those without a scientific background, this would make the task easier and the result in more information being learned. I have done a similar exercise before, yet I took longer than 45 minutes this time. Some of the material is presented in too technical a manner. Who, other than experts, will remember without constant revision what the various classes of fire are (A / B/ C etc). The important thing is to know which extinguisher goes with which type of fire. Similarly, knowing the names for different types of signage is useless in a fire. Knowing what they mean is rather more important. I wanted to look twice at one of the video clips in the test at the end. This was not possible. Overall, the material is, of course, useful.
the information was well organized, with good illustrations and clear commentary.
Very valuable training.
poor as i learnt to pass a test
