The training programme was clear, to the point, easy to follow and understand.

A good thorough summary that was a refresher for me. I did spot one mistake. One the first chart showing which extinguisher type should be used with which fire type, it was shown and reinforced by the speaker that metal fires should not be tackled by the public. When we got to the Dry Powder section, the chart there showed that Dry Powder could be used on metal fires.

The programme was very informative. The information was given in a format that was easy to digest.

This is a comprehensive training programme and the presentation of each section is clear and concise. The programme was very visual, including both videos and pictures, which made it easier to recall information in the test section.

Useful and important information

Too long. Did not not to see fireman using extinguisher videos. Could not print out certificate at the end of the training.

Even though I have had many fire courses, I found that some of the important points had been forgotten by me and this course help to re-fresh my memory

The training is well presented, follows a good progression through the subject matter and the end of section tests and final test capture the most important bullet points as a reminder, without being too technical or taxing. Normal Fire Awareness / Fire Warden training might come with a good trainer in the room with all the benefits of that, and some first hand experience with the fire extinguishers for the learners. The interactive computer use aspect works fine and the benefit to using this as a mid term refresher between (3 yearly) full training, or doing alternate 3 years - interactive via computer : with trainer in the room and hands on practice, might work very well.
