video demonstrations are useful
Fully aware of all procedures NOW
Far too long. Some pointless questions, when burning to death, I do not need to have learnt that the process is called "combustion" for example.
all ok
Easy to follow and use course
I had technical difficulties with this - sound wouldn't work (though my sound system appeared to be working) and each video stopped after exactly 5 seconds. Not sure there's much relevance to knowing what the class letters for each fire are (e.g. Class D = metals)
The programme is aimed towards to general public. It is easy to understand and follow. New information has been added since I completed the course last time.
I found this training programme enjoyable and informative - most I remembered from last time's training but some points I had forgotten
It's a good descriptive course. There is one point I felt was not made strong enough and that is in the section dealing with the different types of fire extinguishers and their use. I think that it should have been stressed or at least stressed more that if in doubt about their usage for a particular fire then don't use them. It's better to sound the alarm and if need be evacuate the building then use the wrong type. I have always been told that the use of fire extinguishers is optional atleast for non-fire fighting people.
