Very informative particulary regarding the different types of extinguishers used.It was explained thoroughly.
It was good coverd alot
A good awareness course but it is just that - it cannot replace actual training in the use of fire extinguishers and employers should not be using the course for that purpose.
It was a very interesting course with very useful information. Unfortunately I had a bad internet connection during the test which caused some answers appeared wrong when I actually had pressed the right buttons. Still I passed with 70% and I am very happy that I have done the training. I learned a lot more about signs, which I took for granted but didn't know all of their meanings.
Even though I've previously had training in this area, it was good to get an update. I guess we all forget how times change, I still remember fire extinguishers being one solid colour, black for CO2, cream for foam and only water was red. I now know what to look for.
I now have a much clearer understanding of procedures to follow and equipment to use for different types of fires.
The course was thorough and comprehensive and effectively brought me up to date on the subject matter. It was adequately detailed to give me confidence enough to feel I could function in the unfortunate event a fire started at a school.
