Much better as an online course as you can complete in your own time, at your own pace and review any topics.
The course is very good, especially with the short videos demonstrating how to use the fire extinguishers. I found that very valuable, and it was the only aspect of the course that I had never seen/done in previous fire awareness training, whilst that is the bit that makes you feel capable of extinguishing a fire. Also the 1 person 1 extinguisher gives a good - and very relatable to - guide for when to and when not to attempt to extinguish a fire yourself. I did feel like one of the exam questions was a trick question: when asked about the extinguisher to use on a photo copy lead; I read "lead" as the metal compound, which you cannot extinguish using any extinguisher. It took me a while to realise what was meant. Perhaps the word 'lead' can better be replaced by 'cable' or 'cord' or something of the like.
It took longer because I'm not computer savvy. When it said at the beginning about altering the browser, I though I need it on maximum screen and then all the way through the bottom line was missing and when it came to take the test there was no play button and I couldn't work out what to do but then I came up with googling on my i pad 'how to alter the browser size'.
Easy to use and move onto next section . Great advice and information .

The course was easy to follow
Easy to use . Step by step instruction
I found the on line training easy to use and very informative . Being able to do it to fit in with my timetable and in the peace and quiet of the office was much better than attending a training course which normally eats into my working day.
