I found the content of the training and the delivery method via lots of short videos very helpful.
I have completed fire training courses in the past with my previous employer therefore I thought I knew quite a bit about Fire safety. However, I have learned new information which surprised me. I like the combination of the videos and real life examples which made understanding the course very easy. I also like that it was broken down into short clips which meant that it could be completed over at different stages.
Having completed Fire Warden course, this repeated same information.
The course was very good- clear information was given and it was easy to leave and resume at s later time. I do think it should be backed up by a compulsory tour of the school, pointing out exit routes and fire extinguishers. I also think the original email for the course should clearly mention who has requested it to be completed as it looks like junk mail.
Good that you can go back if you make a mistake or you want to review something again.
Learnt so much and really liked that I could stop and start learning when it suited me. Highly recommended.
Thorough, six pages of notes! Useful, and potentially life changing, in both professional and personal settings. Will check out own school's Fire Emergency Plan / Fire Action Notice and PEEPS this week! Thank you
The course software gave too many problems. I had to obtain three different log-ons, and when I finally got in, it threw me off part-way through. Not really worth the effort considering there was nothing that wasn't in last year's course.
