The course was interesting but there seemed to be so much information that was hard to memorise in a short space of time and much of which is irrelevant to many people's roles in a school. An example of this is the colour of the rectangle designating the type of fire extinguisher. So long as the contrast between the print and its background is sufficient, any one able to navigate their way through this course should be able to read the description and it's unlikely that an invigilator like myself would know where to find a different type of fire extinguisher than that provided in the exam room; it would be far more important to shepherd the exam candidates out to safety. The videos of how to use each of the different types of extinguisher, however, were very useful.
I like that it is presented in a concise and succinct manner, and each topic is given in 'chunks'.

Acknowledge about the different types of fire and how to prevent and act in each situation is important as a teacher and citizen.
This course was intensive, a large amount of information had to be digested and remembered quickly as the video moved slightly faster than the others. There was no break to give the eyes a rest, and the difficult part was due to loss of sound on my computer, so I had to rely on reading which meant replaying some of the videos, which in turn took longer and the wording obscured some of the signs. Nerve racking through concern about time and a jittery finger. Otherwise excellent.
The course was easy to work through with the ability to review each section before moving on
