Although the factual content of the course is good - it is not practical enough for me. I work with children and I need much more information about how to deal with a fire when I have 30 children to handle. The course mentions the rolling up of cloth and blocking gaps under the door - but where does such cloth come from? Where does the water come from to dampen a face cloth. What is also not mentioned is any anticipation of the terrible panic and fear of fire that might occur and what should be done in that case. I think this is the kind of training better done as a practical session provided by the fire service and not limited to a theoretical explanation.
This was well executed and really enjoyed it - learnt lots of things I didn't know and feel more confident in this area - thanks

The course was very clear and precise. I found the fire extinguisher demonstrations very helpful as I have never used one before.

Great. It's not just a case of passing a test you do need to think about it
The many and various types of extinguishers and their specific uses will not be easy to remember.
