The course clearly explained the types of fires, what to do in an emergency, how to raise the alarm, when to use fire extinguishers and what types. Importantly the course explained the reasons why you shouldn't take certain actions and/or fire extinguishers in an emergency. I thought giving advice on what to do if trapped or if your's or another person's clothes caught fire a useful addition.
the training session was split into many short clips with clear and detailed explanation of the basics you need to know in case of fire in an educational setting. The scientific terms like conduction, convection etc have also been explained in such a way for person from any background to understand fully.
I found the new format much clearer to understand and take in. I liked the examples given when explaining terms such as convection much clearer than the previous course and therefore more able to take in the information. The length has been reduced which is also good as the previous one was information overload.
Good clear advice with helpful information about the different types of fire and the best way to put them out
I thought the brevity of the clips kept my concentration - small bite-sized and defined topics, rather than a lengthy all-in-one lecture or demonstration.Thought it was very helpful in all. It was a bit frustrating - although I passed, I would have liked to improve my score to consolidate learning but would have to watch all the videos again.
