Essential course but format is unhelpful

It's a very understandable and an essential course, containing a large amount of very important information, but... once you've watched one video and moved onto the next, it's not possible at that stage to go back and re-watch any of the previous videos. For me not being able to do this makes it feel like we are not being treated as responsible adults who are able to make our own judgement calls on how best to learn the information. Some people may be able to retain all the details immediately, but for others repetition maybe their preference. Once size doesn't fit all. As the purpose of the course is to learn and retain the information so we can use it, I suggest it would be helpful for you to look at different approaches to achieve this goal.At the end of the videos we have to take the quiz. This can only be taken once and with a minimum required pass rate of 80%. I'm not sure the reasoning behind the former. Surely it would be better for anyone who doesn't get 100% to be able to retake the quiz? This would mean by the process of repetition they learn what the answers should be and so gain the required knowledge. The videos are not available as resources to help answer the quiz questions and I think this undermines the importance of the content and subject. If someone doesn't know the answer, then going back to re-watch the videos to find it would again reinforce the information and help with the learning process. It currently feels like this is seen as cheating.I've taken four of your courses so far and I have found them extremely informative and professional and would recommend them. However, it's just the overall course format which I feel is letting down the excellent and important information.

4/5
Clear, practical, concise

A lot of information presented clearly and practically. Well constructed and informative.

Not easy

time consuming

Excellent and high quality

A well organised training and delivered professionally. An important training topic. Compact and important to all staff.

Videos are too slow

If you just gave the the transcript I would have done this in a quarter of the time and retained more information. I was getting bored waiting for each tedious video to finish. And I think that a fire evacuation chair could be used by a disabled visitor, not just a student who had it in their PEEP. So one question had an incorrect answer.
