I found it easy to understand but it was quite wordy at times and could have been more interactive
Pace was right and context was entirely relevant.
Having completed this course for the third time I would really appreciate a different format for refresher courses as I remembered the vast majority of the material but had to spend one evening watching the whole course because I'm super busy in school during the day. For those who have already completed the course, could a refresher course not be designed? There could be a lengthy test at the start of the course. Any questions that were completed incorrectly could then direct you to the right video clips that need to be watched before completing a final test again. This would be a much more effective use of my time.
Was really impressed with this course. I liked the questions at the end of some sections as it made me think about what I had watched and listened to. For the sections that I got wrong it was good that I could go back and re-watch the sections but meant that I had to start the quiz again.
This course was comprehensive yet simple. All relevant areas were covered and the information presented was clear both verbally and visually. I particularly liked the "One fire - one extinguisher" guideline. The links to information sheets were very useful. Whilst the virtual effects for the various extinguishers were fine I would have liked to see some links to videos of the actual use of real extinguishers on a real fire source. In summary this was an excellent presentation.
