Just the right length of time.

Just completed the test, these are the only things I picked up on that could cause confusion. Easy to navigate though and was just the right length of time.Section 4 – Emergency procedures: Mentions that if you come across a fire, you should phone the emergency services from a safe place – although it does mention that your organisation may have a central person who has that responsibility, our staff (old and new) may not realise this is reception at both campuses.Advises that a lecturer should be last to leave room on the sounding of an alarm and they should close windows in room if passing them and check toilets and other rooms (as long as it doesn’t anger themselves or students) on their way out. I am unsure if this is part of their evacuation procedure due to the wardens being in place. To me, this could lead to the students making their own way out which could cause issues. - Addition: Mentions in a later segment that wardens may be in place to check designated floors so I guess we just need to make it clear to staff what their responsibilities are.Mentions Nurseries having an evacuation cot, only mentioning it as the Nursery staff may bring it up if there isn’t one in place.

Extremely informative

Very clear and easy to understand and a good broken on how and which fire extinguisher to use.

informative

I thought the course was useful and that the summary points at the end of each section was helpful. however I felt that it was frustrating not to be able to skip through the presentation to any particular point to ammend it if you needed to correct an error after the test.

5/5
Informative, well presented training

The information was relevant, clearly presented and engaging. The small bite-sized video clips made the content easy to digest and the summaries at the end of each section were helpful. The multiple choice test at the end was also a useful way in which to check knowledge of the key points.
