A succinct fire safety overview

Clear visuals, summaries and vox pops make this a succinct overview of key fire safety issues in Educational settings.

5/5
Concise and informative

I found the training engaging, and liked the use of different presenters and graphics, as well as tips on how to remember important parts of the training.

One of the questions has the wrong answe

There is a question about what it is called when heat is transferred "THROUGH" metal pipes. The centre of a metal pipe is by definition filled with a fluid (e.g. water, natural gas, air - all of which are fluids), and therefore the predominant form of heat transfer will be CONVECTION.If the question asked about heat transfer through a metal or solid without specifying it was a pipe, conduction would be correct, but by specifying that it "THROUGH a pipe" the correct answer is convection....

Very useful and informative training

This training was easy to access and understand. It reminded me of the importance of being aware of all the fire safety procedures and equipment in place in my work premises.

good

concise, thorough and not too long.

Accompanying documents out of date

I was very disappointed to see the accompanying documents talked about staff who no longer work at Stock and also talked about staff who were on cover in P6 to take the register when we don’t have P6 any more

very good training

I found this training very useful especially when learning about different fire extinguishers and fire hazards. The whole training has been very well structured, easy to follow and the demonstrative videos were very clear and helpful. I feel more confident now. Thank you.

5/5
A bit too long

The quiz questions are too abstract. Expecting people to remember classes of fire without symbols is not a good idea. People need to be able to respond quickly and the symbols help that. Having to remember the letter connected to the type of fire (eg Class b) is irrelevant and abstract.
