This training was extremely useful and helped embed the fire procedure to me within the workplace. It covered the various fire extinguishers that you may come across in the event of a fire, how to recognise them clearly, how to use them correctly and what fire to use them on. It was very informative throughout.
This was a very well presented course , easy to follow and remember . Test at the end was good also
I found the course very informative and helpful, particularly the demonstrations on how to use each of the extinguishers. I feel I gained a better insight into the various different types of fire and which extinguishers to use in each case. I also have a better understanding of the different type of fire signs around the school.
This training is legally required for anyone working in Education. It gives an in depth look into how you can prevent a fire from spreading further and how to distinguish it by using the correct fire extinguisher. It also covers the prohibition, safety, mandatory and warning signs that we should all be familiar with within our working environment.

Course does what is needed to give anyone confidence in how to follow and deal with procedures, along with an awareness of relevant fire safety signs and extinguishers. However, I come from a past employer who also gave a day out to the local fire station for practical training. This was helpful as watching or reading information is not the same as being in a practical situation where you can feel the weight of fire extinguishers and experience putting out basic fires safely, correctly and in a controlled environment.
The information is broken down into small sub-sections to make it easier to follow and digest. A lot of this is common sense but it is always good to have reminders. There is a lot of information about different types of fire extinguisher which, in the event of a fire, would likely be the trickiest to recall accurately. Delivered in clear, plain language.
